Job Description

MFR is seeking an Intern who has a keen interest in data management and processes. Joining our dynamic and international team of inclusive finance specialists in either the Bishkek or Milan office, the Intern will primarily work on activities regarding ATLAS. This role will be conducted within the ATLAS team, under the guidance and supervision of the Platform Coordinator, the Innovation Director, and other directors and regional managers at MFR.


Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Play an important role in developing a comprehensive database of financial and social indicators for banks and other financial service providers globally, including data entry, web-based platform imports, troubleshooting, and result analysis.


Job Qualifications

  • Residency in either Italy or Kyrgyzstan is a requirement.
  • Proficiency in English; intermediate or above. Fluency in French/Spanish is considered a plus.
  • University degree with coursework in accounting and quantitative analysis.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel with prior experience in Excel-based databases.
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to follow instructions meticulously.
  • Exceptional team-working skills.
  • Effective time-management and multitasking abilities.
  • Demonstrated willingness and capacity to work independently and proactively.


Other considerations

The internship requires full-time availability for a duration of 6 months. Opportunities for continued collaboration post-internship will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, contingent upon performance and alignment with upcoming vacancies at MFR.
